puNES v0.96 & HalfNES v0.60

FC模擬器 puNES & HalfNES 發布新版,puNES的作者近期很努力的改進模擬器的效能與相容性,HalfNES則是以Java語言開發的,2款模擬器雖不是頂尖的,但俗語說 "戲棚下站久了就是你的 "大概就是這樣吧...

HalfNES v0.60 :

  • Fixed Battletoads and Battletoads: Double Dragon freezes on certain levels
  • Reduced jerkiness of scrolling in 50 fps games (not eliminated entirely unless your monitor is also set to 50 FPS)
  • Improved performance a bit, there was some slow cheat engine code constantly running

    Yanese v0.81



    FC模擬器 Yanese 發布新版,更新如下 :

    Rom UI: There were various problems with ROM GUI and they have been fixed.
  • Window 1X: You can't use "Pixel Aspect Ratio" for this window size anymore. If you choose 1X from the menu or you resize the window that leaves it at this mode, "Dot by Dot" is automatically used.
  • MMC3: Added support for Rad Racer II. Beware that this game uses 4-screen mirroring and there are some roms that doesn't report it well. The ROM i found reporting it well was "Rad Racer 2 (U) [b1].nes". You should get this rom if you want to play this game.
  • VOLUME: It wasn't documented before, but you can use "+" and "-" keys to control emulator volume.
  • SCALE2X: At window 4X in Pixel Aspect Ratio mode the emu does a Sacale2x over Scale2x. In other words it does it twice which consumes a alot of CPU resource, if the emu starts sounding bad or it's slow you should considere running in "Dot by Bot" 4X.
  • Suspend More gone away: I have removed "Suspend Mode", so the emu will keep running if the window lost the focus, the best thing you can do is tu pause it.

    mGBA 0.3.0

    A new release of mGBA, version 0.3.0, is available. This is a major feature release.     Dolphin 5.0 RC

    Wii/NGC模擬器 Dolphin 即將發布5.0版,目前將分成2條支線,4.0與5.0同時進行,原文如下 :




    Since the release of Dolphin 4.0, things have advanced quite a bit. With compatibility rising to their highest levels yet alongside features that seemed impossible and extravagant, users have been asking about the next stable for almost a year now. For previous releases, including Dolphin 4.0, the staff mostly ceased work on new features while crashes and regressions were addressed. In the case of working toward Dolphin 5.0; there were just too many interesting and exciting features on the way to risk stalling out by asking developers to wait. So a release was delayed indefinitely.

    So in mid-June, we decided to do things a little differently. Instead of slowing Dolphin down for a release, at 4.0-6727 we forked Dolphin into two branches. The development branch has continued forward as usual with all the bells and whistles without worrying about impeding the next release. Meanwhile, all commits relating to crashes, regressions, and other important fixes would not only be merged to master, but also to stable. This allowed the developers to continue developing the latest and greatest features, while still preparing a stable successor to Dolphin 4.0.

    Today, we're happy to announce the first release candidate for Dolphin 5.0! Dolphin 5.0-RC is now on our Downloads page. These builds need to be heavily tested and any bugs; crashes or regressions found in Release Candidate builds should be tagged [RC] when reported to the issue tracker. While we will be switching issue trackers later this month, we intend to transfer all issues to a new tracker to make sure the hard work of our users throughout the years doesn't disappear.
    Any future release candidates will be below the development builds on the download's page.

    As to be expected until Dolphin 5.0 is complete, any non-essential crash fixes and features from this point forward will not be in the final release. For the latest and greatest features, the development builds are still your best option, and the Progress Report will keep on reporting what's new.     Ok it's still about bug fixes, but it also adds some experimental translations using gettext. For now there is only the french translation, it should be detected automatically in linux and windows if your system uses the french language.     Except that there is a fix for a surprising bug in bublbobl, for very fast players who can saturate the machine with bubbles everywhere... this bug has probably around here for very long actually, I chose an original fix, the game won't slow down anymore, so it will never saturate now.
    And a final fix for some animation problems in blazstar, it might affect some other neocd/neogeo games but it's the only I knew with this problem.
    There is also a new dos build, but I heard it's slower than 0.51.0, so it's investigated for now, it's in the old versions for now, 0.64.5, even if it contains already most of the 0.64.6 changes.

    That's all for this time, this version is mainly to allow people to test the translation stuff...
    EDIT : also there are some new pre-compiled packages for those who want to try to compile raine in windows, you can find them in the dev section. But since some dlls changed and some new ones appeared for this version, I'll already have to update these soon... !

    忙! 忙! 忙!

    已經約一個月的時間,每天忙得昏天暗地、日月無光! 大略估計一下,還要忙半個月左右才能告一段落,不管是精神或體力都已到達臨界點,更別提更新部落格了....

    前一陣子發現 771-cpu 上775-板子 的資料,一時手癢拿手上的 GA-965P-DS3 v3.3 下去改,拍了一顆E5450來玩,目前看來相當不穩定,時常發生一些問題,而且還找不出問題所在,真的是一大折磨,偏偏工作滿檔,每天有如水深火熱一般,幾乎虛脫.....

    前幾天才發現 3DS 初階版 已經上市了,目前還在觀望,一切的事情都須等工作完成後才能評估,真的已經好幾年沒這麼忙了.....
