Launcher
- Game list with search, favorites and an "available ROMs only" filter.
- Filters by region, maker and genre.
- Status, Hardware and Year columns. You can show or hide columns, and column widths are remembered.
- Settings window with General, Video, Audio, Controls and Combos tabs, in a window of their own or in the classic layout.
- Themes: System, Light and Dark.
- Toolbar, recent games, and a choice of what the launcher does when a game starts.
Per-Game Settings
- Each game can have its own renderer, window mode, resolution, Direct3D 11 options, sound, controls profile, bezel and trainer.
- One-off options: play fullscreen, play windowed, play with another renderer, play with a trainer.
- Check ROM Set checks a game's zip, its parent and its BIOS.
- Create Desktop Icon makes a shortcut for a game.
Direct3D 11 Renderer (Built-in)
- Internal resolution up to 4x and the xBRZ filter.
- 3D Texture Smoothing (on by default; 2D sprites stay sharp), FXAA and Dither Smoothing.
- Aspect ratio, fullscreen or borderless mode, V-Sync, overscan crop and per-game bezels.
Controls
- Remappable input plugin with keyboard, XInput and DirectInput bindings, autofire and two pads.
- Controls profiles you can save and load.
- A key or button already used elsewhere can be moved or kept.
- Combos tab with macros for Street Fighter EX2 Plus.
Frontend Support
ZiNc-EX.exe --game <set name or ROM file> [--fullscreen | --windowed]
It starts the game with your global and per-game settings, without showing the launcher window, and waits until the game closes.
